Stop and think..

I am the preacher of "When you get overwhelmed with something just step back, take a deep breath and start with one thing at a time". Well I had to do that myself today. I am the type of person that has so many things going at once that I never realize it unless I really stop and think about it for a while or when I realize that I can't squeeze any other activity into the day due to lack of time, never lack of strength or will power.

I have two vehicles with a blown engine. I have to replace the engine in the Explorer next week and the other is in the Z which will be more of a race engine build over the course of the winter. It was these two vehicles that made me realize that I am waaaay to busy lol. I was supposed to pick up the new engine last Friday for the Explorer but didn't get a chance to. Then tonight I was going over what all I had to do tomorrow and realized that I will have to put a lot of it off because I forgot to pick up that engine Friday. Weird huh? Little things, mostly errands fill the day with a seemingly high enough collective priority to overshadow the really important non everyday things. I just found it kind of amusing and will be trying to spot it more often when I do it.

Anywho on a more random note. I watched Batman The Dark Knight tonight. The movie was freaking awesome to say the least but it was a really long movie which left my eyes tired and my mind kinda on edge because of all of the plot twists. Oddly though when it was over I didn't want it to end.. odd huh?

Yeah. I got aggravated that the shrubs had grown down into the clay dirt which makes them nearly impossible to dig up or pull up by hand when its cold. Sooo... I improvised lol Enjoy.

Infomercials and insomnia

How do infomercial hosts get a job, really? They either constantly scream or by trick camera work make you think their product is really what it says it is. The two main ones are Billy Mays from the famous Oxy clean commercials that is ALWAYS SCREAMING AT YOU FOR NO APPARENT REASON!!!! and my favorite the Sham Wow guy which I really don't think he even has a real name, just "Sham Wow Guy". He cracks me up because he acts like he will give you a beat down if you do not buy a Sham Wow within the next 20 minutes in order to receive a free mini sham wow. But I guess that's why people make infomercials. The product really doesn't work so they find someone to try to scare you into buying it lol.

WHAT THE CRAP IS WRONG WITH BILLY MAYS????


My random thought for the day: I want an Amish Fireplace. How in the world did they find out about infrared technology much less how to perfect it and put it in a stove in Amish country? Screw it, I still want one its freakin cold here.
